











New York City’s Heloise and the Savoir Faire have enjoyed a whirlwind ascension to the peak of the dance-punk scene in 2008. With the impending release of their debut album, Trash, Rats and Microphones, and a major push by both Elijah Wood (via his label Simian Records) and the addition of guest vocals on the new album by Debbie Harry, the group seems unstoppable. Synthesis editor Ryan Prado had the glorious opportunity to chat with the group outside the Omni Hotel in beautiful downtown Austin, Texas, during South By Southwest 2008.
