Lou Reed is a pop culture and musical icon. His contributions – be they from The Velvet Underground, under the shadow of Any Warhol’s Factory in the ’60s NYC pop-art scene; or his work as a solo artist, penning the musical zeitgeist “Walk On The Wild Side,” and albums that alternately delighted and confounded both fans and critics (see 1975′s Metal Machine Music) – have left an indelible mark on rock ‘n’ roll, underground or otherwise. He also happens to be something of a jerk. Exclusive from synthesisradio.net.
